My friend just barely got his hunter safety completed. He was so excited to finally go hunting. He asked me if I would take him on his first elk hunt. I have been elk hunting many many times, so I was happy to be his guide. My friend was not very experienced with rifles so I allowed him to barrow my .270, to practice and hunt with. Well, the day of the hunt came and he was ready. I was confident we would find some elk. We had been scouting for the entire week before. Well, we found the elk and my friend was able to shoot a beautiful cow elk. This really started the fire burning in my friends veins. He decided to buy a .270 as well. We are both college students so he bought a good rifle but did not want to break the bank on a rifle scope. So, he was able to find a few different discount rifle scopes that would fit his needs very nicely. These different discount rifle scopes allowed him to choose the one that would fit him the best. He chose a variable 3-9 power scope, just perfect for elk and deer hunting. Share
