My New Years resolution was to cross of as many items on my bucket list this year as possible. I am learning that life is short and that we need to take this time to enjoy ourselves and go on adventures. I started the year with going crabbing in the Puget Sound, next on my list is to go on hot air balloon guided tours in Seattle WA. Living in the greater Pacific Northwest is great for having many opportunities all around me for checking off my list. Whale watching, seeing a waterfall and climbing a mountain were all things that I was able to accomplish. I was a little apprehensive to go on the hot air balloon guided tours in Seattle WA as I am afraid of heights. I chose to go on an evening ride so that I could watch the sunset. I have to admit that the flames were loud and intimidated me. As the balloon lifted off of the ground, I was overwhelmed with how beautiful the scenery was. The sky was all different shades of orange and pink and I could see the Space Needle in the distance. The ride lasted almost an hours time and took us floating all around the city. I felt as though I never wanted to land. Share
