My husband got a job in Anchorage. We had to move us and our ten year old son from California for the position. The move was pretty hard on all of us, but mostly on our son. One of the biggest worries he had was finding a place where he could take karate. Our son loves karate! When we moved he was in his third year of karate classes and was starting to get really good. I ensured our son we would be able to find karate classes in Anchorage for him. After getting moved in and settled I started looking for karate classes in Anchorage right away. With the help of the internet, it ended up being very easy to find places that offered karate. I found a couple of options and went and checked them out. I knew what my son expected from a class so I sat in on a couple of classes. All of the karate places were good, but one was almost identical to the one my son went to in California. I signed him up right away. After dinner that night I told my son he would be starting classes the next day after school. He was so excited! When he came back from his first class he was thrilled. He told me his instructor was awesome and that the other kids in the class were great! He takes several classes a week now and is happy as can be. Share
