Every year, my husband and three of his buddies go on a trip to Canada with fly-in fishing. They arrive at a private lake and do wilderness camping or stay at a lodge for four or five days. Glen absolutely loves this trip; I think he looks forward to it all year round, even from the day after they get back home. In Canada out there in the hinterlands, they see deer, bald eagles, raccoons, black bears and sometimes even elk. During their Canada fly-in fishing trip, Glen and his buddies usually catch an abundance of fish, and they grill out fish every evening and have a big dinner. He says they usually drink a few beers at night, but they are too tired to stay up and party. In addition, staying up late and partying would be detrimental to their goal of enjoying their time out in the wilds and being effective at catching fish. This year Glen and his friends plan to do something somewhat different. They plan to fly in to a stream or a river known for great fly-fishing opportunities. This should be quite a challenge to these men who are mainly accustomed to lake fishing. Share
