I love to golf. When ever we travel to golf courses not in our area we always check the golf course ratings. Both the ratings given by professionals and the golf course ratings given by other golfers. There is always one or two people who rank the golf course way too high or way to low, so I always through those ratings out, unless all the ratings are super high or super low. When that happens you know it is either the best or worst course around. When I go to a course I like to know what I'm getting in to. I want to know if it is an easy course, a hard course, or somewhere in between. I like to know what the terrain is like so I know what to wear and if there are any nature concerns I need to be prepared for, like mosquitos. When I get to a course and it is exactly like I pictured in my mind I have a really good time. Sometimes it turns out to be better then you were expecting in which case everyone is really thrilled. But on the flip side every once in a while you end up really disliking a course you thought would be ok. For the most part I really thing golf course rating are accurate. It really isn't too often that I disagree with what I have found in the ratings. Share
