I would call myself a gear head. A gear head is someone who can not find enough discount camping equipment. I like to try new things. This habit can get really expensive if you do not look for good discount camping equipment. I have been been using a very small tent for several years. Now I have started camping with friends and am looking for a larger tent that can hold more people. I need a tent that is really durable because I take really good care of my equipment and keep it for a long time. It becomes like a trusted friend that has see a lot of miles with you. I ended up getting a tent with several "rooms" in it. This means that there is a general area in the middle for all our equipment bags and then three separate areas that sleep two people each. This is really cool. We can leave the doors zipped open and talk to each other or we can zip the doors up and have some privacy. In a tent there is really no such thing as privacy, but this is as close as I have seen. I am really looking forward to using this tent next season. We set it up in the yard and it looks fun. Share
